FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH – A vehicle accident was reported early Thursday on Interstate 71 near Westerville, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation Columbus (ODOT Columbus).
The wreck took place on the northbound lanes that run between the I-270 ramps (Exit 119) and Polaris Parkway (Exit 121), in the city’s Spring Hollow area. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after 5:29 a.m.
While officials have not specified what caused the collision or how many parties were impacted, a section of northbound I-71 was shut down for about 80 minutes.
