COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities were called to an injury crash Wednesday afternoon on Hilliard-Rome Road near west Columbus, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The wreck occurred on the southbound lanes of the road near the entrance ramp to eastbound Interstate 70. It was first reported shortly before 1:17 p.m.
While very few details have been shared with the public at this time, the right southbound lane of Hilliard-Rome Road was shut down in the immediate aftermath.
At least one person was confirmed hurt, but no other information regarding the patient’s condition was provided.
