Over the last several weeks, Oliver Law Offices has received numerous calls and online requests for assistance with COVID-19 related employment issues, including questions from employers and employees about virus-related symptoms, working with ill coworkers, taking emergency medical leave, sick pay, layoffs, rehiring issues, and severance packages, among other questions. We realize this is a difficult time for many. For that reason, we have temporarily changed our intake policies to allow our attorneys to help more people and small businesses and to make that legal help more affordable.
If you have an employment-related questions that relate to COVID-19, we may be able to offer you a 20-minute consultation, either by phone or by Zoom, at a cost of $131. To determine if your issue qualifies, simply fill out the contact form below with a sentence or two about your issue and a request for the consultation and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Where issues are more complicated or require the filing of a complaint, we may be able to waive the initial retainer or charge a low fat rate for assistance in filing some administrative complaints.
While there are always exceptions, we hope that the changes in our intake procedures will enable more clients to get the help that they need during these stressful economic times.
