Rollover on OH-29 near Sidney claims Versailles woman

SHELBY CO., OH – A 45-year-old woman died last Thursday in a single-vehicle collision along the highway in central Shelby County, reports WLIO.

The accident happened on the northbound side of OH-29 before Fort Loramie-Swanders Road. This is just northwest of the city of Sidney and about 74 miles northwest of Columbus.

Police say that a Versailles woman lost control of her SUV, left the highway, and crashed into a guardrail. The SUV rolled, and the driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

There were no other passengers in the SUV when the wreck occurred.

A full investigation is underway.
