COLUMBUS, OH – One person suffered serious injuries Wednesday morning due to a pedestrian collision in west Columbus, according to FOX 28.
The incident took place in the 3700 block of Sullivant Avenue, in the city’s Hilltop neighborhood.
Although the exact cause of the crash has not been specified, the victim, who was hit by a vehicle, was rushed to Grant Medical Center. At the time of FOX 28’s report at 6:48 a.m., the patient was listed in critical condition.
It was not immediately apparent whether the driver is expected to be charged or cited, but they stayed at the crash site and cooperated with investigators.
The case is being handled by the Accident Investigation Unit.
