Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with Pickup Truck at West Columbus Intersection

COLUMBUS, OH – One person was sent to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after colliding with a pickup truck while operating a motorcycle in west Columbus, reports ABC 6.

First responders were dispatched to the scene at South Glenwood Avenue and Sullivant Avenue, in the city’s Franklinton area, shortly after 12:04 p.m.

According to officials, the victim was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Sullivant Avenue when they collided with a southbound driver in a Chevrolet Silverado at Glennwood Avenue.

While the driver of the Silverado was not reported hurt, the motorcyclist was rushed to Grant Medical Center with critical injuries.

It’s unclear at this time whether any charges or citations are anticipated, but the Accident Investigation Unit is handling the case.
