ADAMS CO., OH – A 43-year-old man died, and four people were hurt Tuesday in a wrong-way collision along the highway near Peebles.
According to The Highland County Press, the incident occurred shortly before 7 p.m. along OH-73 at Portsmouth Road. This is about 90 miles south of Columbus.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a northbound 2009 Chevrolet Malibu entered the southbound side of OH-73 and crashed into a southbound 1998 Buick Lesabre.
The driver of the Malibu died at the scene of the wreck.
Medics transported all five occupants of the Buick to an area hospital with serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
