COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police are searching for the driver responsible for crashing into a daycare facility Sunday in east Columbus.
According to 614Now, the incident happened around 7 p.m. at Holiday Care Center on South Hamilton Road, or OH-317. This is west of Big Walnut Park and north of I-70.
Authorities aren’t yet sure what caused the accident, nor have they disclosed any details about a suspect.
Photos taken at the scene show a black SUV and extensive damage to the front-side of the building.
Police say the facility was empty when the crash occurred.
