COLUMBUS, OH – A child sustained serious injuries Monday evening when a vehicle struck them at a north Columbus intersection.
According to abc 6, the incident occurred shortly before 6 p.m. at Hard Road and Lindworth Road. This is north of I-270 and west of the Olentangy Freeway.
Police haven’t shared many details regarding the circumstances of the accident. Video footage taken at the scene suggests that a black sedan may have been involved.
Medics found a child pedestrian in the roadway and transported them to an area hospital with critical injuries.
The driver involved in the crash did stop to render aid and speak with authorities.
