COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities were dispatched to an injury collision Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 70 in west Columbus, according to Johnny Hill, WTVN Traffic news reporter.
The wreck occurred on the eastbound lanes at Exit 97 to West Broad Street, near Rhodes Park. It was first reported shortly before 2:55 p.m.
Very few details have been made available at this time, but a section of the eastbound interstate was closed in the area. Motorists were instructed to take the exit and entrance ramps at West Broad Street to pass the scene.
No information regarding potential injuries has been released, but a photo taken at the scene shows multiple emergency vehicles responding.
