COLUMBUS, OH – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash early Thursday on Interstate 270 in northeast Columbus, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The accident occurred on the southbound highway near the ramp to westbound I-670, in the city’s Crossroads area. It was first reported at about 5:16 a.m.
Very few details have been released to the public, but at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Officials indicated that multiple right southbound lanes were blocked by the scene. Motorists coming from Morse Road were asked to take caution as they approached the area.
