COLUMBUS, OH – Emergency crews were dispatched to an injury collision Tuesday morning on Interstate 71 near downtown Columbus, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill, of WTVN 610 Traffic.
The incident was recorded on the southbound lanes of I-71 after I-670, at around 11:23 a.m.
Very few details have been made public at this time, but the scene had the two left lanes blocked. While officials have not confirmed the number of those hurt or the severity of their injuries, a photo captured by an area traffic camera shows at least one fire truck responding.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m., more than 1.5 hours later, one left lane remained closed.
