FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH – Emergency crews were dispatched to an injury collision Friday afternoon on Interstate 270 near Worthington, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The incident occurred on the eastbound lanes of I-270 between I-71 and U.S. Highway 23, in an area north of Columbus. It was first recorded shortly before 3:20 p.m.
Very few details have been disclosed, but all eastbound lanes in the area were shut down following the crash. Motorists were asked to detour onto eastbound OH 104 during the emergency response.
At least one person was confirmed hurt as a result of the wreck, but no further details were provided.

By 3:45 p.m., about 25 minutes later, two left eastbound lanes of I-270 after I-71 remained blocked to traffic. Traffic photos taken in the area indicated delays.
