COLUMBUS, OH – At least one person suffered injuries due to a collision Monday morning on South High Street in south Columbus, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The accident happened on the southbound roadway past the entrance ramp to westbound Interstate 270, in the city’s Far South area. EMS personnel were en route to the scene by around 8:17 a.m.
Officials said that in addition to southbound South High Street, the westbound I-270 ramp to U.S. 23/southbound South High Street would also be closed during the emergency response.
Motorists were advised to detour around the scene using westbound I-270 to US-62, then to eastbound I-270 to U.S. 23/South High Street.
