COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police responded to an injury collision early Thursday evening in the Hilltop area of southwest Columbus, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The accident happened on Sullivant Avenue before Holly Hill Drive. It was first reported at about 6:14 p.m., when first responders had already arrived on the scene.
Details remain limited at this time, but the eastbound side of the road was shut down by Columbus police. Motorists were instructed to take either West Broad Street between Georgesville Road and Wilson Road or Clime Road, off of Georgesville Road.

At least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck, but officials have not indicated the severity of the patient’s condition.
