CANAL WINCHESTER, OH – At least one person suffered injuries due to a collision late Wednesday afternoon on U.S. Highway 33 near Canal Winchester, according to local traffic news announcer Johnny Hill.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of the highway near Bowen Road and was first reported shortly before 4:32 p.m.
Very few details have been made available at this time, but motorists coming from near the Hill/Diley Road exit were advised to proceed toward the scene with caution.
Authorities have not yet said what caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved. It’s also unclear at this time exactly how many people were hurt and how badly.
