At Least 12 Injured as Car Crashes into Restaurant in SE Reynoldsburg

REYNOLDSBURG, OH – As many as 8 people had to be hospitalized Sunday evening after a vehicle slammed into the O’Charley’s restaurant in southeast Reynoldsburg, which also injured four others, according to CW Columbus.

Authorities responded to the scene at 2272 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road at about 6:30 p.m.

According to the venue’s management, a patron was behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed into the business and came to rest in its dining area.

At least twelve people were confirmed hurt. Eight patients had to be transported to local hospitals while four others were able to walk to Mount Carmel Medical Center in the area for an evaluation. Despite the number of people impacted, none of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening.

Local agencies have not confirmed any pending charges or citations.
