COLUMBUS, OH – One person was seriously injured as a result of a motorcycle collision Sunday afternoon on Interstate 270 in northeast Columbus, according to NBC4i.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes of I-270 from Cleveland Avenue, causing long delays all the way until Interstate 71.
The circumstances remain unclear at this time, and officials have not indicated whether another driver was involved, but the motorcyclist was rushed to an area hospital after a “wip[e] out” crash.
On Sunday evening, August 4, Columbus Division of Police said the patient was listed in critical condition.
As of this writing, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
