FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH – As many as five people were hospitalized Sunday morning following a collision on Interstate 70 in west Columbus, according to NBC4i.
Local police responded to the scene on the westbound lanes at North Hague Avenue (Exit 95), near the Ponderosa neighborhood, shortly after 8:00 a.m.
Officials did not specify what led up to the accident, but two vehicles were involved, leaving one person in critical condition, and another in serious condition. Of the three other victims, two others were said to be in stable condition.
A section of the westbound interstate at North Hague Avenue, as well as the westbound lanes of I-670 at I-70, were shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
No pending charges have been confirmed at this time.
