COLUMBUS, OH – Authorities were called to an injury collision early Tuesday evening on Interstate 70 in downtown Columbus, according to Johnny Hill, of Total Traffic Network-610 WTVN.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes near Exit 99 toward northbound Highway 315 and southbound Interstate 71. It was first reported by the City of Columbus at about 5:28 p.m.
No information regarding the circumstances of the event has been made available, but at the time of the initial report, the right westbound lane was closed.
Local agencies have not yet confirmed the number of vehicles involved, and while at least one person was reported hurt, the extent of their injuries was not immediately clear.
