COLUMBUS, OH – At least one person suffered injuries due to a collision late Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 670 northwest of downtown Columbus, according to Johnny Hill, local traffic news announcer with WTVN 610.
The accident happened on the westbound side of I-670 that runs between 3rd Street and Neil Avenue, near Goodale Park. It was first reported at about 4:54 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but motorists were advised that the scene had the center lanes blocked. By the time of the initial report, a traffic backup had formed from I-71.
Officials have not yet confirmed how many people were hurt or how badly.
