FRANKLIN COUNTY, OH – Part of U.S. Route 23 near Lockbourne was blocked in both directions early Tuesday afternoon following a semi-truck accident, according to Johnny Hill, local traffic news announcer with WTVN 610.
The wreck occurred at the State Route 665/317 interchange and was first reported at about 12:51 p.m.
Officials have not specified what led up to the incident, but a semi-truck overturned, forcing motorists to find alternate routes around the scene.
State Route 104, between State Route 762 and Frank Road, was recommended as a detour.
